HOLE

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?

“I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me…”  Robert Louis Stevenson touched on the magic of childhood wonder in this beloved poem.  What is a shadow?  It appears and disappears, sometimes flitting in the breeze, sometimes making structures that seem as solid as concrete.  Can I touch it?  Does it make a sound?  Is it a real thing, or just a hole in the air?

When you look at the world with new eyes, you see new things…
